This year, in all, 138 Administrations have been selected all over Italy

The Administrations have presented themselves as candidates with works aimed to increase the value or develop the public green present on the territory of its own competence, through retraining or new realizations.

The winning administrations, one for each category defined on the basis of the number of inhabitants, are:
Comune di Cona (Venezia) for the 1stcategory – Municipalities up to 5.000 inhabitants
Comune di Candelo (Biella) for the 2ndcategory – Municipalities from 5.000 to 15.000 inhabitants
Comune di Cerea (Verona) for the 3rdcategory – Municipalities from 15.000 to 50.000 inhabitants
Comune di Trento for the 4thcategory – Municipalities with over 50.000 inhabitants Provincia di Treviso for the 5thcategory – Provinces

On Friday the 10th September 2010, from 10.00 am, at the Salone Internazionale del Florovivaismo Flormart in Padova, Pavilion 11, within the Salone del verde tecnologico (T-Verde), the winners will receive their prizes along with the results ‘presentation of the Prize’s eleventh edition. Even this year the event will be preceded by a technical meeting that will do an update about the present state of the public green in Italy, through a out and out “green thermometer”, in collaboration with the Associazione Italiana Direttori e Tecnici dei Pubblici Giardini and the referential institutional world.
