A Sustainable Future for the Exumas: Environmental Management, Design, and Planning.

The conference is hosted by the Ministry of The Environment of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in conjunction with the Bahamas National Trust and the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

A group of national and international experts will address both current strategies and future possibilities for the Exumas. The intention for this introductory event is to prepare the ground for a possible multiyear research initiative that will consider the Exumas from environmental, social, economic, and design and planning perspectives.

Within a full and diverse program, the conference will feature presentations by The Rt. Hon. Hubert Alexander Ingraham, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and The Hon. Earl D. Deveaux, Minister of The Environment.
