La pratique muséologique telle qu’on la connaît depuis le début du XXe siècle subit un remaniement important. Les modifications profondes du statut de l’objet, de la culture, des diverses disciplines, de l’information et de l’éducation entraînent une transformation inévitable du rôle et des compétences du commissaire. La pratique curatoriale suscite depuis peu un regain d’intérêt en architecture.

Le Programme offre la possibilité de présenter et de réaliser un projet curatorial en lien avec les débats contemporains en architecture, en urbanisme et en architecture du paysage au cours d’une résidence de 3 mois au CCA à partir de l’automne 2012.

Programme de stages curatoriaux de Power Corporation du Canada

Avec le programme de stages curatoriaux Power Corporation du Canada, le CCA souhaite partager son expertise curatoriale et son expérience avec des étudiants ou jeunes diplômés dans les domaines de les domaines de l’architecture, du design, des arts et des sciences humaines. Un ou deux candidats seront invités à se familiariser avec la collection du CCA, ses activités liées aux expositions et recherches au cours d’un stage de 6 à 9 mois à partir de l’automne 2012.

Curatorial practice as it emerged during the twentieth century is being extensively recast. The tremendous change in the status of the object, culture, the various disciplines, information and education, implies an inevitable transformation of the curator’s role and competences. A renewed interest for curatorial practice has recently emerged within the field of architecture.

Power Corporation of Canada Curatorial Internships Program

The Power Corporation of Canada Curatorial Internships are designed to share the CCA’s expertise with students and recent graduates in design disciplines, arts and humanities. One or two selected candidates will have the opportunity to become acquainted with the CCA’s collection, exhibition, and research programs through a 6 to 9 month internship beginning in Fall 2012.
