Planned to take place in 2014, 18 artists have already been selected to present works int the 19th Edition of Biennale of Sydney.

Artists Yael Bartana, Ulla von Brandenberg, Mircea Cantor, David Claerbout, Yingmei Duan, Krisztina Erdei, Douglas Gordon, Henna-Riikka Halonen, Roni Horn, Mikhail Karikis, Laurent Montaron, Agnieszka Polska, Augustin Rebetez, Maxime Rossi, Wael Shawky, John Stezaker, Corin Sworn and Tori Wraynes were announced yesterday by Juliana Engberg, curator for the next year's edition of the Biennale. There are still a number of names to be published within the next few months, which can be cheked out in the Biennale's official website.

Some of the venues listed to present works and performances of the XIX Biennale of Sydney include Art Gallery of New South Wales, Museum of Contemporaru Art Australia and Cockatoo Island.

The Biennale of Sydney takes place every second year and works from previous edditions can be seen here. The accreditation period is now oppen for arts industry and media personal interested in attending opening week events. Works will be exhibited from March 3rd through June 9th 2014.
